Overview
To provide the highest quality experience at the FORUM, all submissions, other than invited talks, will be reviewed and adjudicated by professionals
qualified in the fields of computer-human interaction and industrial design.
We invite professionals with experience in any relevant design field to join us as reviewers for the case study submissions to this FORUM.
Review criteria
Submissions will be juried on:
- level of interest that members of the design community, broadly construed, will have in the work,
- clarity of expression (the language of the conference is English; any standard variety - British, American, Indian, etc.
is acceptable in written form)
- creativity of the approach to the problem and its solution,
- reproduceability of the practices or the specific solution,
- expression of the theme of the FORUM with an emphasis on humanization of products and technologies, and
- the potential for stimulating cooperation and collaboration between the two sponsoring professional associations.
Become a Reviewer / Jury Member
ICSID and CHI follow similar practices in evaluating the quality of proposals for public presentations, however each community has its own names for the roles and activities. The industrial and product designers submit the work for juried events. The interaction designers and information architects think well of peer-reviewed work. In this case we are soliciting evaluators from all disciplines to help select the best work for the FORUM to promote our theme and our collaboration.
